Nineteen-year-old Adegunle Boluwatife, representing Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos, has been crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos 2024. The grand finale of the prestigious Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos (MBGLAGOS) pageant took place recently at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, showcasing the city’s most talented young women and highlighting their beauty, culture, creativity, and commitment to social impact.

The contest kicked off with an energetic opening dance performance by the contestants, followed by segments featuring casual wear, traditional attire, and stunning evening gowns that captivated the audience and judges alike. Hosted by MC Shakara, the event drew dignitaries, celebrities, and Lagos elites for an evening filled with culture and entertainment.

Adegunle Boluwatife impressed the judges with her grace, confidence, and advocacy for women’s empowerment, ultimately beating 13 other contestants to win the coveted crown. Alongside the title, she received an all-expense-paid trip, a wellness package from St François Medical Centre, and the honor of becoming the Face of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (AFWN), among other endorsement deals.

Other notable winners included Kudirat Sanbe (Surulere LGA) as MBGLAGOS Tourism, Chidera Eze (Agege LGA) as MBGLAGOS Sustainability, and Sarah Obiekwe (Apapa LGA) as MBGLAGOS Enterprise.

Abiodun Ayorinde, the convener of MBGLAGOS, expressed gratitude to the sponsors, stating, “This event is more than a beauty pageant; it is a platform to empower young women to embrace their full potential and become agents of positive change. We are proud to see these queens stand as ambassadors for Lagos, showcasing their intelligence, creativity, and commitment to making a difference.”

She emphasized that the winners will champion causes aligned with their titles, promoting tourism, sustainability, and entrepreneurship in Lagos State. The event, powered by the Lagos State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism, along with sponsors like Mysha, Cadbury, Tasty Cube, St François Medical Clinic, and Luxxstrada, aims to inspire young women and foster growth across various sectors in Lagos.
