According to statement, the delegation is in the state on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari to commiserate with the families of those killed by Boko Haram.
Over 40 rice farmers were killed in an attack by the insurgents at Zabarmari in Jere local government area of Borno state
The farmers were killed at Kwashabe village, about 20 kilometres north of Maiduguri, Borno capital.
Buhari had described the killing as insane while calling on the armed forces to bring the perpetrators to justice.
