The founder of Resurrection Praise Ministries For Africa, Archbishop Benjamin Samson Mustapha also known as JEHOVAH SHARP SHARP has urged the federal government of Nigeria to protect the Headquarters of INEC in Abuja to help sustain our democracy as the aggrieved opposition political parties have decided to go to court.

Speaking to newsmen in Lagos, he maintained that those who want to pervert justice will do anything to ensure that there is no evidence. He said “we are in the most critical period in Nigeria because of the type of election that INEC conducted, nothing must have to the INEC office in Abuja where all the electoral materials and results from all the states are kept, we need transparency, let’s see how APC won the election”

The presidential candidate of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, the Chairman of the party and other top chieftains of the party marched to the INEC office in Abuja today to protest the results of the election.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has also gotten the order from the court to be given access to electoral materials and results of some states; reacting to this the clergy maintained that the INEC office is very important at this time, he said: “Nigerians have overwhelming evidence, if INEC is maintaining that they never compromised, they should be ready to prove that Nigerians by allowing the Labour Party have access according to court order”.

The clergy maintained that INEC promised Nigerians a credible, transparent and fair election, he reiterated that flaws with characterised the presidential election is so disheartening.
