Like they say that wonders shall never end, as 14 year-old girl (Princess) raped in the palace in Idumuje-Ugboko Community Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The operatives of the Delta State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Delta State Command have mounted a manhurt for allegedly defiling a 14 year-old Princess in the said community.
The said suspect, name withheld who is currently 100 metres on the run based on his allegedly act committed and was allegedly covered up by eminent persons in the palace and the persons who allegedly conspired to cover up the case are now wanted by the Delta State Police Command.
According to source who revealed, added that following a petition written by one Prince Walters Eziashi maintained that matter was brought to members of the Royal Family and concealed the act, took the said girl to St. Joseph’s Hospital, Asaba for better treatment, which the police has spread out their nets to fish out the principal culprit and others.
The source also said that one of the suspect arrested by the police added that the 14 yearold girl consented to the rape hence that the matter was settled in the police, while adding that one Mbanefo and others have a case to answer for their complicity in attempt to cover the rape.
In another development, the suspect told the police that the initial suspect who was set up through the conspiracy involving that some princess and princesses was fined four goats and other traditional items to appease the gods and cleans the palace.
