Nsugbe Community Anambra East Local Government Area, Anambra State the home town of Ex-Senator Obi Alphonsus Igbeke popularly known in the social circle as Ubanese yesterday said they have ostracized the former Senator in the town warned that no indigene of the town will associate with him just as they placed a fine of a million Naira for him to pay to be accepted back as one of their own, this he will do after he may have washed himself of all misdeeds levelled against him adding that his actions are inimical to the progress of the community.

But in a swift reaction to this to newsmen from his base in Abuja, the Ex-Senator dismissed such allegations as tissues of lies fabricated by a few disgruntled elements in the town who are envious of his achievements adding that these envious elements have been going about the town using innocent poor members of the community to smear his good name which he had acquired through the years.

While denying all the allegations leveled against him, he noted that no time did he arrest any innocent youth and dumped into police cell as well as masterminded their killings, forcefully snatch people lands as being alleged by his traducers..

Nsugbe Igwe in Council as well as all Senior Chiefs in the town had earlier in a meeting held at the residence of Obi Paul Nwankwo the head of all Chiefs in the community found the Ex-Senator guilty of several allegations ranging from arbitrary arrest of eight youths in the year 2000 who were taken to police authorities in Awka which up till today their whereabouts are still unknown, forceful snatching of people and community lands among others.
