A 52-year old man, (names withheld by us) reportedly vomited four live bullets during a weekly prayer session of St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Inland town, Onitsha, Anambra State.
· The man was said to have been very sick, suffering of an unknown ailment with symptoms such as general body disability for many months before he was advised to attend the weekly ministration of the said church.An Eyewitness told Orient Weekend that it was during the long hours ministration that the man, in the course of struggling with himself placed his hands on his stomach and vomited four iron live bullets, each of which measured about one inch long.Several other worshippers also reportedly vomited various unidentifiable objects and thick jelly-blacky substances while others either made confessions of their misdeeds or gave testimonies of their answered prayers.The Vicar of the church, Canon Innocent Opara, who presided over the prayer session, had during the ministration advised Christians to always desist from self deceit, adding that, “people deceive themselves in various ways”.According to him, “people deceive themselves when they know the truth and refuse to say it. People deceive themselves when they play double standards and when they allow themselves to be bought over for material gains”.He encouraged people, especially Christians, to always endeavour to be themselves and avoid being carried away by falsehood, frivolitiesand materialism.
Over 600 worshippers were said to have attended the prayer session.
