Gov. Obiano's aide conducts seminar for Anambra schools

It was joyous mood for both private and public school principals and owners as the senior special assistant to Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state on Secondary School Monitoring, Hon. Juicy Chinyere Mbakwe, organised a seminar for the schools.

The  seminar tagged, “2021 Anambra State School Leaders Summitt, 21st century School Leadership/ Post Covid-19 school Rebranding”, was held at Sharon Guests House, Onitsha.

The event attracted good number of school principals, proprietors of private schools and teachers.

Speaking, Mbakwe disclosed that her aim of organising the seminar was for the school principals to unite and brain storm on the need for embracing quality leadership.

She commended them for participating in the seminar and urged them to support Governor Obiano in his policy to prepare children in the state to have global competitive spirit.

In his speech, the representative of Governor Obiano and running mate to Professor Chukwuma Soludo in the November 6, 2021 state gubernatorial election, Chief Onyekachi Ibezim, reminded private school owners and public school principals that education remained priority in the APGA-led government in the state right from the time of former Governor Peter Obi and urged them to support the incoming government in the state.

Some participants who spoke at the event included, principal of Lake City Secondary School, Nri, Mrs Vivian Okeke, principal of New Era Secondary School Onitsha, Mrs Obiechina Nkechi, principal of Metu Memorial Secondary School, Onitsha, Mrs Chikadibia and Rev. Peter Okoye who commended the organiser of the seminar, pointing out that the seminar was superb and would be a turn around when school resumed.
Highlight of the event was issuance of certificates to the participants at the seminar.
