Nigeria Super Eagles, gunning for their fourth Africa Cup of Nations glory will in August know their group opponents, Orient Sports reports.
This follows declaration by CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba, that new date for the delayed 2021 African Cup Of Nations draw will hold on August.
The draw was earlier slated for 25th June, 2021 but was postponed as a result of covid-19 and other logistic reasons.
Mosengo-Omba who is leading some delegates to Cameroon on Tuesday confirmed that the draw will now take place between 1st and mid August 2021 in Yaounde, Cameroon.
Sierra Leone beat Benin Republic on Tuesday, to pick the last qualification ticket, thus, completing the 24 qualified countries for the competition.
The competition was earlier scheduled to hold in January 2021 but has now been moved to 2022 due to Coronavirus Pandemic while the acronyms of 2021 AFCON is retained just as Europe retained their Euro2020 acronym even as the tournament is currently going on.
