The Chairman of National Conscience Party, NCP, Anambra State, Comrade Peter Okala, has maintained that the adjournment of Nnamdi Kanu’s case to 21st October 2021, by Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja high Court yesterday was a clear indication that the court was not ready to entertain the matter.Okala, an activist also, posited that the Federal Government through the court had over a month ago fixed July 26, 2021 as the day for the hearing of the matter and wondered how the case was adjourned over frivolous ‘logistics reasons’.“That shows the life of an Igbo man does not matter. The suit would have been entertained if the Igboman is not a dot in a circle as President Muhammadu Buhari said. A blind man would have seen that anything about our law is designed against Igboman. They have already shown the sign a month ago by fixing the matter on Monday”, he stated. He continued that, “In the wisdom of the Court, they said the hearing will commence today. Kanu was ‘adopted’ and his lawyer, Ejiofor, has been calling to know the circumstances under which he was adopted. The nakedness of the truth against Igboman came to an open when Mr President said that Igboman is a dot in a circle and as such has no way of escape”He further recalled what Ejiofor said after the invasion of Kanu’s house where 28 people were reportedly killed that, “two years after the case was filed in court, it has not been entertained by the court. It shows the life of an Igboman does not matter”Frowning at the development he reiterated that, “very soon if the situation of the North monopolizing the entire key positions and resources is not reversed, there would be more agitations for freedom”.

Okala who hinted that the party is in a business of consciencelessness, stated that it is one’s conscienceness that makes one to feel for others.
