Coinbase’s Visa debit card on Tuesday syncs with Apple Pay Google Pay, and crypto exchange.

The debit card works by exchanging users’ cryptocurrency balances, like bitcoin (BTC, +1.65%), to edict at the point of sale, allowing them to pay with crypto at any card-accepting merchant. it has assured 4% rewards in Stellar Lumens and 1% in bitcoin. some debit cards don’t have a cash-back program, let alone having one in crypto
Mastercard and Gemini are preparing to reveal a crypto credit card with 3% bitcoin returns. And BlockFi has a rewards-supplying crypto credit card in the works. bitcoin becomes concealed as an asset, not a medium of exchange, in the minds of most users, the spending incentive could move the needle on crypto payments despite unfavorable U.S. tax laws.
