Insecurity is the lingering menace that is serving as a great impediment to the Nigerian nation; with almost every part of the country under an immense security threat, it has become paramount and essential for the government to give undivided and rapt attention to it.

The leader of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, primate Babatunde Ayodele has warned the government to tackle this issue before it envelopes the nation completely.

Speaking to Orient Weekend at the Headquarters of his ministry in Lagos, the cleric who is regarded as the number one prophet in the nation beckoned on the government to tackle it immediately, he said “the insecurity in Nigeria is so much, almost every part of the nation is boiling, the government need to take drastic steps to tackle this becausese if they don’t, it will jeopardise 2023 election because I see great danger ahead”.

He enunciated that the primary assignment of any good government is to protect lives and properties. He said, “Nigerians are in pain at his moment because of the pathetic and pitiable economic condition of the Nigerian nation, yet, lives and properties are not still secured, people die on daily basis”.

He also talked about the rampaging Unknown gunmen that have besieged Anambra and Imo state. He said, “unknown gunmen have killed a lawmaker in Anambra state and have threatened to kill more, I want to make it clear that it will not just be Anambra state alone, politicians across Nigeria will be affected by this because they are the major target”.

Finally, he applauded the effort of the military and other security operatives but said “the Nigerian soldiers are trying their best but if the government does not do something drastic to stop it now, I tell you that even the soldiers will not be able to tackle it later”.
