It was more troubles for the embattled National Chairman of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, as his kinsmen from his Ikuru town in Ward 5 of Andoni Local Government Area of River State officially announced his suspension as member of the party.
His suspension is coming after stakeholders and leaders of the PDP from Andoni Local Government Area paid a solidarity visit to the state chairman of the party, Ambassador Desmond Akawor, to register their loyalty to the party and declare their support for the sacking of their kinsman.
Secodus’ kinsmen made their position known alongside other men and women from Secondus’s home community who carried placards with various inscriptions, chanting their support for the move by the Rivers State leadership of the PDP to suspend Secondus all together from the party.
They expressed their unflinching support for Governor Nyesom Wike and pledged to stand by whatever decision the PDP in the state takes on the fate of Secondus as a member of the party.
