Prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, Lagos has reacted negatively to the courtesy visit of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi to one of the reigning clergies in Nigeria, Apostle Johnson Suleiman. Prophet Ikuru described Obi as a liar who has no evidence of good performance.
Speaking to Orient Daily in Lagos, the cleric insisted that Suleman shouldn’t have received or endorsed Obi, he said: “I feel so disappointed that Apostle Suleman could be Hoodwinked, I have said it before and I will say it again, Obi is a liar,he lied that he invested so much in Anambra state, but the governor of Anambra state came out openly to refute it; all Obi did as a governor was arrest and intimidation of Anambra youths”.
Prophet Ikuru refuted the claim by Apostle Suleman that his convoy which was attacked some weeks ago was perpetuated by the government, said: “I love and respect Apostle Suleman so much, he is a vibrant servant of God who has pulled down strongholds and faced enormous challenges, I was interested in the case when you said that the government attacked you, but I discovered that it wasn’t true because I’m also connected”.
He reiterated that Obi was a liar who has managed to deceive the youths with his lies, insisting that he can’t win the forthcoming election, he said “I know that Apostle Suleman is a seer, he already knows that Obi will not win, then why to support a man who claims that he doesn’t have money, yet, he is a billionaire with great investments, he will cripple this nation the more if he emerges the president, but it will not happen”, he insisted.
