It is truly a right step in the right direction as Coaches brainstorm on the upliftment of round leather game in the country, Orient Sports reports.
The Academic session is being held at the conference hall of Anambra State Sports Development Commission in Awka.
Orient Sports confirms that coaching clinic is equally expected to have an impact on My Anambra Football Super 8 Tournament, which would resume after the ANSFA tournament.
In his address, Vice Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association (AnSFA), Victor Aniekwena said that it is a good time to fish out the coaches who are eager to impact on the upcoming talents.
The initiative will enable AnSFA to revolutionise football in the State.
Aniekwena revealed that it is a 5day empowerment programme and will serve as a guide for them to properly execute their job and career.
One of the instructors who spoke to Sports Writers, Alphonsus Dike, lauded the project as a veritable tool to galvanize football at the grassroots level.
Dike noted that the process will aid in tackling fundamental problems associated with football development in the country and beyond.
Orient Sports reports that the program is being sponsored by Aspire Foundation through Anambra State Football Club Owners Association (ANSFCOA) and Aspire Football Club, Adazi Ani.
It would be recalled that last year football in Anambra, witnessed a Coaching clinic held by Berackiah and Abigol, which was also intiated by Aspire FC.
However, about twenty three Coaches, three FIFA badged instructors and NLO officials are already in full participation while more are expected to join in due course.
