The prophetic gift is very essential, that is why the Bible said in the book of Joel 2:28 “And Afterwards, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions”.Prophets give divine leading and directions and ultimately convey the mind of God to the people. God released the prophetic grace dimensionally to fulfil the end-time mandate, these are some notable and leading prophets in Nigeria.
1. PRIMATE BABATUNDE AYODELE
Though he is a Nigerian prophet his prophecies hit Africa and the entire world at Large, he is indisputably the number one prophet in Nigeria and Africa and he remains the most consistent of all the prophets as he has over ten thousand fulfilled prophecies; just to mention a few and most recently, the coup in Burkinafaso, Nigeria failing to qualify for the World Cup, the war between Russia and Ukraine, the victory of Charles Soludo in the Anambra governorship election, the recent flood that killed over four hundred people in South Africa, the resignation in Boris Johnson’s cabinet, the political broil between Tinubu and Osinbanjo. Primate Ayodele is the number one prophet in Africa without any sentimental inclinations.

The Catholic Church has a peculiar way of operation and everyone who wishes to be in the fold must adhere strictly to them. Irrespective of your area of calling or the gift you have, the Catholic Church does recognise the office of “prophet”, if they do, Mbaka should have been one. Nigerians Will not easily forget his prophecies that hit the entire nation like the Tsunami, though he is a Catholic priest, what had earned him the fame and popularity he has nationwide is his prophetic gift; he is one of the leading prophets that gives divine leading and guidance.
3. APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN
He has been able to make to distinguish himself and make a lot of difference. Apostle Suleman is one of the few prophets that people crave to hear from at the beginning of the year, he has several fulfilled prophecies to his credit as his ministry continues to thrive in Auchi.

5. PASTOR SCHUGGER EZENWA ONYEUKWU (PHD)
He prefers to be called a pastor but he is more than that, just like Odumeje, the speed with which this great prophet is accelerating to the top is magnificent. He prophesied the death of prophet T. B Joshua, election results and other things that happened. He is one of the raves of the moment.
