According to her, “information is key and power, yet when misrepresented can bring down an institution. We recognise your worth and impact in the society. We are grateful that you are our friends. We also appeal that you continue to preserve the image of the institution as you have always done.

On his part, chairman of the chapel, Comrade Sunday Apah, commended the provost, management and the governing council of the institution for the hosting, positing that, the ceremony was first of its kind since inception of the institution over 20 years ago.

In his words; “Indeed the current administration is really poised to develop the school to enviable heights because this meeting will further strengthen the relationship between the school authority and journalists in the state.

“As journalists we are ready to partner with you by publishing your activities such as matriculation, convocation, seminars, symposium, AGM, and any other important events to ensure that the school is upgraded from its present status of School of Health Technology to College of Health Technology to boost the number of new entrants,” he added.
