2023: Atiku, Obi, Okonkwo urge Anambra youths to join Nigeria's rescue mission

His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has called on Anambra youths and students to unite in the mission to rescue Nigeria from bad leadership come 2023 by supporting his candidacy to become Nigeria’s next president.

Alhaji Abubakar made the call through her daughter, Miriam in Awka, the Anambra state capital during a special summit on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. The summit was aimed at enlightening youths and students across the state on the personality and qualifications of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who is coveting the number one seat in the country under the PDP, Orient Daily reports.

According to him, youths are the engine room for national growth and development. The PDP and South East will never take the younger generation for granted. Youths will be included in the scheme of things because this country belongs to the youths.

“I will prioritize education and will not relent in promoting the unity of Nigeria”, he assured, urging youths to come out en masse and vote for the right candidate in the election. He also expressed optimism that his administration would help to recover the lost glory of Nigeria.

In a remark, PDP stalwart, High Chief Senator Ben Obi CON, described Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as a lover of youths and students, and assured his audience that a vote for Mr. Atiku was a vote for educational development and youth empowerment. He, therefore, called on Nigerians to join in the crusade to recover and rescue Nigeria to make the country great again.

Earlier, the Director General of Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organisation, Prof. Obiorah Okonkwo, said that Nigeria needs a good government that will bring dividends of democracy to youths, while condemning the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC). He said that Mr. Atiku is eminently qualified to lead Nigeria out of its comatose state, while calling on Ndigbo to key behind the PDP presidential candidate. “I believe in Igbo Presidency but Igbos should shun sentiments and support Alhaji Atiku until our time is right”, he said.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is expected to officially kick off his presidential campaign at Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, in preparation for the February election during his visit to the state on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

Distribution of electronics and other gifts, as well as musical performance climaxed the occasion.
