Orhuwhorun community in Udu local government area of Delta state has commiserated with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over the demise of his father, Pa Arthur Okowa.
The president general of the community, Comrade Joseph Obioru, who spoke to our correspondent on the death of Pa Okowa at Orhuwhorun on Thursday, said that the community mourned the death of an iconic father and elder states man.
“He is great for giving birth to a unique personality as Governor Okowa,” he said.
Another Orhuwhorun personality, Chief Akpojotor Adjarho, who spoke to our correspondent during the chat, described Pa Okowa as a father to Deltans.
“He was kind and humble in spite of the fact that he is the biological father of a serving governor,” Adjarho, noting that Pa Okowa’s demise was also a loss to Delta state.
