The ongoing nationwide revalidation and registration exercise of the All Progressive Congress APC membership has recorded low turnout in Imo state.
A visit across the various centres for the exercise indicated most party officials deployed at the polling units dozing away while some were busy chatting as a result of the low turnout.
In some locations, like Ohaji Egbema local government area, some unidentified persons were said to be enticing and prevailing on potential registrants.
Also, Orient Daily learnt that government appointees in the state were deployed to the field to mobilise registrants in their various wards just to ensure large turnout and registration.
