Three Delta poly students die in car crash after exams

Tragedy struck as three students of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South local government area of the state, died in a ghastly motor accident.
Reports gathered that the incident occurred hours after the three victims, a male and two females, finished their pre- graduation examinations.
It was gathered that they died along Issele-Azagba/ Ogwashi-Uku road while on their way to a graduation party at about 8pm.
According to a source, who preferred anonymity, two of the three students who were inside a tricycle died on the spot after a head-on collision with Toyota Camry vehicle, while the male student died several hours after the accident.
It was also revealed that the occupants of the Toyota Camry vehicle also died in the ghastly motor accident.
The two female victims were identified as HND students from the Mass Communications Department of the polytechnic, while the identity of the male student could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
When contacted, Delta State, Federal Road Safety Corp ( FRSC), Head of Operations, Me Bakare Adesina, said that the command was not notified about the accident.
At the time of filing this report, Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said she has not been able to reach the DPO, Ogwashi-Uku.
