Stanel Master Class initiative to empower thousands of youths in Anambra

As part of their drive towards eliminating poverty and retardation among the Nigerian youths, Stanel Group in Anambra will on Friday empower many thousands of youths across the country.
The event billed to last for 3 days starting Friday, at Stanel Oil and Gas mega centre (Stanel World) in Awka, Anambra State will attract presence of key speakers notably, former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, Managing Director of Access Bank, Mr Herbert Wigwe and Chief Executive Officer of Coscharis Group, Mr Cosmas Maduka are among Nigerian business guru who will mentor Anambra youths in a masterclass programme.
Also expected in the business tutorials tagged, ‘Stanel Youths Empowerment Master Class’ are Prof Pat Utomi and the chairman of AirPeace Airlines, Dr Allen Onyema among others.
Orient Daily reports that the 3 day event; starting with the ‘Stanel Youth Empowerment Master Class’; ‘Stanel Concert’ follows on Saturday and, on Sunday being Valentine’s Day, will wrap it up with ‘The Love Affairs.
Briefing newsmen on Thursday, the convener andand airman Stanel Group Limited, Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu disclosed that the event earlier held in 2019 was designed to remould the youths, take off their minds from crimes and criminalities as well as make them live their dreams via empowerment.
He said the youths will be listening to prominent indigenous men who have gone through the process of building businesses which will in turn act as catalyst to the youths who may have been nursing hopes of starting business of their choice.
Part of the empowerment programme will be issuance of two million naira grants to four youths with sound business idea and development plan courtesy of Stanel resolve to champion youth support.
Stressing on the importance of the programme, Dr Uzochukwu said the annual programme is to engage the youths in critical thinking that is devoid of crime. He said when youths are idle, what comes to their mind is how to make ends meet adding that the empowerment programme will avail the youths opportunity to think deep towards developing their talents.
He said “It is a platform for us to speak, train and mentor the youths who make have been considering engaging in one crime or the order. It will remodel their minds to think what will be profitable for themselves and the society.”
