Premier League teams want us to beat Chelsea – Tottenham manager, Pochettino

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has said the rest of the Premier League will be supporting them when they play Chelsea on Wednesday.

Spurs defeated Watford 4-1 on New Year’s Day, to maintain a 10-point gap between them and the Blues.

Chelsea travel to White Hart Lane, looking to extend their winning run to 14 matches and Pochettino says his team would get the kind of support Leicester City got last season.

“Maybe we will feel how Leicester felt last season – all the teams with them, against us!” he said after the match at Vicarage Road.

“Chelsea arrive in very good shape but we are too after the last few games. It will be a very tough game but it’s a great opportunity for us to stop them, try to reduce the gap.

“It’s important for the Premier League for us to win, to try to stop them. In the end our challenge is to be in the top four.”
