Eagle’s midfielder lifts Remo Stars with N1m cash gift
Nigeria Super Eagles and Galatasary of Turkey midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, has doled out a sum of N1m to players of Remo Stars, a second tierdomestic league club, Orient Sports reports.
Holidaying Etebo had paid an unschedulef visit to Remo Stars Academy at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne-Remo.
He visited the Sky Blue Stars academy players to have a jaw-jaw with them, he used the opportunity to motivate them.
Etebo said Remo Stars is one of the best clubs in Nigeria, most especially the academy.
He says for anybody who wants to make it great in his career, Remo Stars is the best.
He appreciated the President of the club, Honourable Kunle Soname, and the Management of the club for the brilliant work put in place to ensure the success of the players.
The Super Eagles midfield enforcer made a donation of N1 Million naira to the boys just as a way to motivate them going forward in their career.
“On behalf of me and my family, I want to just give you guys this ‘pure water’ money to have fun and serve as a motivation to you to always dream big”, he said.
Etebo was on the card of Warri Wolves before his European career journey started.
