Ex U23 Eagles Coach Imama watches from the state box

Former Nigeria U23 Olympic Eagles manager, Imama Amapakabo who is the technical adviser of Abia Warriors has been watching the ongoing Gov Okezie Ikpeazu Preseason Tournament holding in Aba from the State Box, Orient Sports reports.
Amapaka has not sat on the team’s bench since the tournament got underway here on Sunday.
Instead, he would either sit in one of the stands or at the VIP Stand. Against Plateau Umited on Monday, Amakapabo sat in the State Box and randomly calls one of his back room staff to pass instruction to him for onward delivery to the players.
“He has been doing that since the tournament started”, an official of the club told Orient Sports.
“He sits somewhere so as to have a clearer view of the team on the pitch. This also helps him to assess the team”, the Abia Warriors official explained.
Amakapabo has had managerial spell at Rangers and Elkanemi Warriors before succeeding Emmanuel Deutsch, a Cameroonian, at Abia Warriors prior to the Covid-19 induced stoppage of last season.
