PDP accuses Oshiomhole of plotting anarchy
By Cyril Mbah, Abuja
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has warned the national chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, to guard his utterances on the Supreme Court judgement over the Bayelsa State governorship election.
National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, in a statement, described Oshiomhole as “factional national chairman who has no stake whatsoever in the wellbeing of his own home, Ologbondiyan and warned Oshiomhole to steer clear of Bayelsa State as his plots to trigger violence in the state have failed.
The PDP further counseled Oshiomhole to be careful with his utterances, accusing the APC chairman of engaging in “venomous garrulity and clear misuse of language to destabilise the nation with the aim of truncating the nation’s hard-earned democracy.”
Ologbondiyan’s statement was in response to the APC national chairman’s rejection of the Supreme Court verdict of the court which sacked the candidate of the APC, David Lyon, as the governor-elect in Bayelsa.
Adams Oshiomhole had addressed a press conference at the APC secretariat in Abuja soon after the verdict and alleged that nobody was qualified to be sworn in as governor of Bayelsa State.
