In the case of the attempted assassination of the late Egyptian writer, Naguib Mahfouz, the judge asked the man who stabbed Naguib Mahfouz,

The terrorist said:

The criminal said:

Another judge asked the terrorist who killed the Egyptian writer ‘Faraj Fara’:

The terrorist replied:

The judge said:

The Terrorist:

The terrorist replied:
“𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲!”

𝗜𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Ignorance is the reason we hate others based on what we heard about them, and in most cases without evidence.
We hate others not what we know.
We hate people based on what we were told about him not on what we actually know.
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗜𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
That ignorance continues to be an eternal stain on whatever results we call success.
