Freedom and Justice Party, FJP, has announced that its indication of interest and nomination forms are free of charge for the disabled, youths and women while calling on those who are ready to make sacrifices for the salvation of the country to avail themselves of the opportunity and vie for political positions under the party.
Chief Goddy Emeka Anyanwu, National Deputy Chairman (South) of the party made this known while speaking with newsmen recently in Awka during his tour of the Southern States of Nigeria.
He said that this move was made to encourage people from these demographics, who are hitherto marginalized but might have what it takes to take the country to the next level, to take a chance at vying for political positions.
Anyanwu also made a call on Nigerians to adopt change in attitude towards governance promising that FJP offers Nigerians the leadership they hope for come 2019 general elections, Orient Daily reports.
Anyanwu decried the way people dupe the country of millions of dollars leaving the masses in abject poverty.
“They feel that money that is in the government belongs to nobody, so they make away with as much as they can.
“We have decided that there must be justice in this country and whatever you know will hurt you, you should not do it to others.”
He said that he is presently on a tour in all the states in the Southern part of the country to encourage people of like minds to join the party in order to salvage this country.
Speaking on the general elections and the party’s preparedness, the National Deputy Chairman said that the party has already started entertaining interested political aspirants “who are mostly technocrats.”
He encouraged people with means to look out for and sponsor capable hands to vie for political position, saying that this is the only way the right people can assume political positions in the country.
On his part, Arthur-Regis Odidika, the Anambra State Chairman of FJP, who hosted the National Deputy Chairman, said that FJP is poised towards instituting the reign of righteousness in the country.
He said that “FJP was formed by people from various parties in 2017 that are ready and willing to make the necessary sacrifices required to salvage the country.”
“We love our country and we want this country better than how we met it for our own good and that of the generation to come.”
