A lot of ills are happening in our society today, young boys are venturing into all sorts of evil. Society is polluted because Nigerian youths have decided to embrace crime as a measure to cushion the effect of the hardship that is obtainable in Nigeria.
Peer pressure has been identified as a strong force which goes a long way in influencing the weak mind of the youths.
Pastor Schugger Ezenwa Onyeukwu PhD and Prof. Pat Utomi were among the guest speakers at St. Mary Catholic Church, Lagos. Pastor Schugger implored parents to show interest and monitor the type of friends their children keep because it is a major determinant.
He advised parents to shield their children away from bad friends and bring them up in the way of the lord, he noted that the consciousness of Christ will dissuade them from engaging in evil acts.
