Remember that since Nigeria slid into the third phase of the Coronavirus pandemic in the second quarter of this year, the country has continued to record a rise in the number of Covid-19 new cases and deaths. Unfortunately, most Nigerians have completely lost consciousness of the pandemic, thereby ignoring the recommended preventive protocols.

On Wednesday, Nigeria recorded 790 cases of Covid-19 disease, which according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, is the country’s highest daily figure within the last six months.
