NEWLY ELECTED PG NKWELLE EZUNAKA PROMISES INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENTS OF COMMUNITY

Chief Willie Okafor, the newly elected President General of Nkwelle Ezunaka, Oyi Local Government of Anambra State has promised that his priority in office will be to pursue programmes that will bring lasting peace, brotherly love among citizens as well as enthronement of efficient security system in the town to complement the state government programmes on development and security.
Making this promise while speaking to newsmen in his house at Nkwelle Village, Nkwelle Ezunaka recently, Okafor who was the Caretaker President General of the community before his election as the President General noted he is prepared to bring sanity to the problem-ridden land transactions in the community which has remained a source of crises to indigenes of the town adding that he is determined to put to a stop to issues of fraudulent land transactions and grabbings which has bedevilled the town. He stated that to put a stop to it that he had already set up a land committee comprising eminent citizens of the town to deal with the problem once and for all.
On other development programmes like infrastructure, youth developments, etc, he stated that he had outlined a lot of infrastructural programmes on road maintenance, construction, youths development etc.
While commending Prof. Charles Soludo for his wonderful achievements so far in office, he appealed to him to always remember the community in his programmes of development especially in the area of road construction, electricity as well as youths’ employment and empowerment.
It will be recalled that before being elected as the President General of the Nkwelle Community, Chief Willie Okafor had served his community meritoriously in various capacities and is regarded as a bridge builder and peacemaker in his community.
