Sir Silas Ikeh, a community leader and founder of New Heaven Estate, Nkwelle Ezunaka, Oyi LGA, Anambra State, has slammed Gov Hope Uzodimma of Imo State on his recent public comment on the killing of about 14 youths in his state by security operatives suspected to be members of the state security outfit, Ebubeagu, saying that the governor’s comment portrays him as somebody who is insensitive to the plights of the families of the slain youths.

Expressing this observation while speaking to newsmen at his residence at New Haven Estate, Nkwelle Ezunaka, yesterday, Ikeh, a human rights activist, tasked Gov Uzodimma not to waist time in setting up of judicial investigative inquiry to ascertain the truth, with a view to apprehending the perpetrators, punishing them, as well as compensating deceased families.

On politics, he blamed the PDP and it’s presidential flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, saying that the party’s presidential candidate was responsible for the current turmoil in the party, as the party falls to recognize the strength of Gov.wike, adding that the leadership of the party underestimated Gov Wike by giving the party’s ticket to Atiku.

Sir Ikeh.

He also described APC’s Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket as a sign that God don’t want the party to continue ruling Nigeria; adding that the party has succeeded in alienating itself from Nigerians; meaning that it has lost the 2023 election already.

He also described Gov Soludo’s performance in office so far as encouraging. He said that the governor’s performance in the areas of security, trade and commerce, transportation, road maintenance, healthcare and others, shows that Soludo wants to endear himself to the people.

Ikeh also enjoined Anambra people to cooperate with the governor by giving his government maximum support.
