ANHA Speaker to FG: Immortalize Mbazulike Amechi

The Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor has described the first Nigerian Aviation Minister, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi as a patriotic Nigerian and a selfless politician.
He enjoined the federal government to name an important federal institution or organ after the elderstatesman in appreciation of his services to the country.
This was contained in Rt. Hon. Okafor’s goodwill message to the Nanogerian on his 92nd birthday, thanking for longevity upon the celebrant while also praying for him to continue to enjoy the fruit of his labour.
The Speaker, who extolled Chief Amaechi’s contributions to the growth and development of the country, called on other notable politicians in the country especially in the South-East zone to emulate his sterling contributions towards human and institutional development by ensuring maximum peace and progress in Igboland.
He prayed God to continue to strengthen him in all goodness and grant him more fruitful years ahead.
