Do you need to rekindle relationship love with your partner? Often times a long term relationship can feel like there is no more love involved. Of course you still care about your partner, but it just feels like that spark has gone away. It is all too easy to get caught up in everyday life and take the other person in the relationship for granted. You get comfortable where you are at and you don’t try like you used to when you were first dating. The first thing you can do to start out is small but will make a huge impact when combined with the other tips. Clean up after yourself. You might not be the one that is making all of the messes around the house, but if you think about it hard enough, I’m sure you can think of something that your partner is always nagging you about to get done. For example, my girlfriend always used to do the dishes and it drove her nuts that I would never help so one day without her asking I made it a point to do the dishes before they piled up into a huge mess. I never said anything to her about it, I just took initiative and did it. This saved me a lot of cold shoulders.

The next thing you can do is clean up for your partner. I know this sounds like the first tip but it is slightly different. If you want to rekindle relationship love you need to find something that you always notice needs done that your partner never does and do it for them. My girlfriends car is always a mess. So one day I went out and cleaned if for her without being asked to do it. Don’t do this all the time for them, just do it every now and then as a surprise.

Another great tip to rekindle the love in your relationship is to cook your partner a nice dinner. Set up the table for two and get out the candles. Doing this as a surprise one night will show your partner that you can still be romantic and that they are still special to you.

You need to go out some what regularly. All relationships that are in trouble have the issue of falling into the comfort zone. It is nice to stay in and watch a movie but you need to get out of the house more often and do stuff together. Plan a date night if your schedules are hectic. You need to make an effort for your relationship to be healthy.

The last tip I have for you to rekindle relationship love is to sit down once and a while and make contact with your partner on an emotional and physical level. All it takes is to walk up and give your partner a hug when you see them. Try sitting next to them on the couch and put your arm around them and ask them how their day was. The point of this article is that you have to put effort into having a long lasting, healthy relationship. Once you start doing this you will notice that you have more feelings for your partner than you thought you had.
