I’m still, and will remain in PDP – Ezeemo
A frontline PDP member and first runner-up at the June 26 factional primaries of opposition, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Godwin Ezeemo, yesterday, expressed his commitment towards the growth and development of the party in Anambra state.
Mr. Ezeemo made this known at his campaign office in Awka while addressing members of his campaign movement. He stated that, it was important he cleared the air and properly addressed the rising questions about his continuous stay in PDP.
The industrialist maintained that, since he joined the People’s Democratic Party, his vision and commitment to the party had remained the same.
According to him “What we need and must work on is the leadership system and how best to utilise our resources without selfish interests to better our state.”
“Part of my major interest, as a party man, is to find a way to ensure that our party maintains a strong and people-oriented leadership within our party and further extend this through quality service delivery.”
He further bemoaned the sad and dangerous trend which our political system is heading to. According to him, “If we must revive our party, we must do away with monetising our political arrangement.”
He further stressed that anybody thinking that Mr. Godwin Ezeemo will be leaving PDP to any other party was having the wrong thought as he was more committed to the development and betterment of PDP.
