Anambra 2021: Resist inducement temptation, to protect your future – Maduka
A governorship aspirant on the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Godwin Maduka has advised the electorate to shun political inducement of any form.
He urged them to view such as a distraction not worthy of ruining their future generation and that of the state.
Addressing party faithful in Awka, Maduka challenged them to make a difference in the upcoming delegates elections (slated for June 26) and prove that the party is really for the people and not the elite alone by casting their delegates votes to him.
He said, “In my honour, if PDP delegates play right wing politics by shunning shady process and vote candidates with open evidence of developmental projects in the state, I will engage them in all my gigantic investments to manage.
“If I am elected PDP flag bearer, I promise you all in this state a new lease of life. All the senatorial zones would be given a fast face lift. I will pull all my foreign contact to come rebuild Anambra.
“I have lived, schooled, worked in America. I have got my taste and am an employer of labour in the US. What will happen here is going to be a child’s play. Please give me your votes to serve for better.”
Maduka, who had concluded tour of the 21 local government areas of the state where he had direct interactions with the electors of the party flagbearer, urged them to vote on conviction of the candidate who was more qualified to win the election and guarantee equal development in all local government areas of the state without preferences.
