Anambra 2021: I see blood, hottest election – Pastor Okah
By Phil Okose, Onitsha
As Anambra residents prepare for the November 6, 2021 governorship election, an Ogidi-based cleric, Pastor John Okah, has prophesied about the election witnessing bloodbath and turning out the hottest election ever to be held since the creation of the state.
Speaking prior to his sermon last Sunday, Okah hinted that, “we need prayer for this Anambra state governorship election billed for 6 November 2021. I see blood, it is going to be hot and terrible, hottest election since the creation of this state.”
“We need prayer by everybody, one for the election to hold and two let God bring out the man that will take us to the promised land.
There is going to be a kind of mayhem that may result in the election not holding. The prophesy came to me to make it open prior to the said election so that all will pray as the only means to avert catastrophe is prayer.”
He recalled that, in the time of our forefathers, “sometimes, in old age, when a country/tribe wanted to go to war, they would consult the prophet to know if they should go to that war or not. Then God will reveal to the prophet if they should go to that war or not.”
“It is the duty of a man of God to pray for politicians and leaders, especially now that the Anambra governorship election is around the corner.”
On the national security challenges being experienced currently he attributed it to bad leadership, saying that “Nigeria is blessed with abundant human and material resources but our problem is bad leadership. Selfish leaders.
We need a man who will take us to the promised land. When the righteous is in power the people rejoice but when the wicked is in power the people suffer.”
“The Bible says, pray for your leaders. If you check other countries you know that Nigeria is blessed. What we need is good leadership.”
Asked if he allowed politicians to campaign in his ministry, he reiterated that, “it is a place of worship and not for campaign even if I have large followers.”
