Joseph Dosu has evaluated the qualities of Enyimba winger, Anayo Iwuala, and certified him good enough to play for Super Eagles against the Squirrels of Benin in Saturday’s AFCON qualifier in Port Novo and next Tuesday’s clash against Crocodiles of Lesotho billed for Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, Orient Sports.

The former Nigeria international says Iwuala should be given the chance to feature against Benin Republic and Lesotho.

Dosu made this known after watching Iwuala in action for Enyimba, in Monday’s NPFL game against Sunshine Stars, at the Agege Stadium.

He is one of three home-based players invited to the Eagles camp following the withdrawals of Moses Simon, Kenneth Omeruo and Samuel Kalu.

After watching the NPFL game, Dosu endorsed Iwuala’s invitation, positing that it is deserved.

“I watched Anayo Iwuala of Enyimba play  against Sunshine Stars on Monday at Agege Stadium for the first time, he deserve the Super Eagles call up.

“Hope he will be given the opportunity to play in Benin or in Lagos, very good attacking midfielder.”

Iwuala has joined his teammates in camp in preparation for the qualifiers which comes up on Saturday and Tuesday.
