A governorship aspirant in Anambra state, Chris Azubuogu, has pledged to restore sanity and discipline in Anambra state if voted into power as the next governor of the state.
Azubuogu, who is currently representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo at the Federal House of Representatives, made the pledge over the weekend during a dialogue with Anambra gubernatorial aspirants organised by the Anambra state chapter of the Centre for Strategic Leadership and Youth Orientation (CENSTLEYO).
While reacting to a question on waste management, the lawmaker said: “We [Ndi Anambra] are not disciplined enough. We need a government that will instil discipline in us.”
He went on to note that, if given the opportunity to govern, that domestic and industrial wastes would be recycled into new products.
