The group, in a statement by its national secretary, Comrade Keneware Emmanuel, demanded justice for the extra-judicial killing of Iseregbe.
The said group seeks the commissioner of police in Delta state, Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa, to arrest, prosecute and disband the Ovwian Vigilante group with immediate effect.
“It’s very glaring that the untimely and the extrajudicial killing of Miss Sovereignty Iseregbe is capable of fomenting crisis that could disrupt the peace moves between Aladja, Ogbe-Ijoh and Isaba communities.
The group urged the police boss to quickly disband the vigilante group and the perpetrators brought to book urgently.
Sovereignty was shot dead by two members of the Ovwian vigilante late into the night on Friday, November 13, 2020 following an altercation.
