Tilije resumes duty as Delta Commissioner for Finance

Delta State Commissioner for Finance, Sir Fidelis Tilije, has encouraged the management and entire staff of the Ministry of Finance and Office of the Accountant General on continuous cooperation and dedication in the discharge of their duties.
Sir Fidelis Tilije made the call during a welcome meeting he held with the directors and other management staff of the ministry and the Office of the Accountant General at the Conference Hall of the Olorogun Felix Ibru Secretariat, in Asaba, the state capital.
He expressed satisfaction with the performance of the management and staff of the ministry during his first tenure in office, saying, “Sincerely, I enjoyed working with you all; I implore you to please continue doing what you have been doing before.”
The Commissioner, however, admonished them to improve on their level of productivity, adding that there was always room for improvement, so as to move the ministry to enviable heights and achieve the ‘Stronger Delta Agenda’ of the present state government.
He further encouraged them to always feel free to come to his office whenever they are faced with any form of challenges in the discharge of their duties.
The Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mr. Cornelius Semiteje,, in his remarks, welcomed the Commissioner back to the ministry and expressed the readiness of the staff and management to cooperate with the him as they had always done.
The Accountant General of the State, Mrs. Joy Enwa, also welcomed the Commissioner and assured the him of their continued support and improved productivity.
