Foundation empowers widows, orphans in Abia

Not less than 300 widows and 100 orphans in Osisioma Ngwa local government area (LGA) of Abia benefited from the benevolence of Unveiling the Veiled Foundation, an arm of the Shekhinah Glory Ministries, Abuja.
The foundation, founded, by Prophetess Rose Kelvin, an indigene of Osisioma Ngwa, gave out 5,000 bags of rice to widows and offered to pay West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) fee of over 100 orphans, in continuation of its scholarship programme for the needy.
Prophetess Kelvin, explained that God gave her tears-wiping mandate which she must adhere to all the days of her life, stressing that God had given her the mandate to remove pains from the lives of people, especially widows and orphans.
She stated that she did not like to eat alone, noting that the kingdom of God was the kingdom of giving.

“If I don’t do this for others to see, I don’t know how they can be motivated. I don’t have it all, but I’m calling all those who have to start helping all those in need because it’s important.
“God has not called the qualified, He has qualified the called. God does not call the equipped, He equipped the called. Whatever you have, give to those who don’t have and life will be good for all of us”, she stated.
Mr. Uchenna Jombo, deputy chairman, Osisioma Ngwa local government area, who was impressed with the kindness shown to his people, stated that the entire people of the area are proud of their daughter, who graciously decided to show massive love to her people.
According to Jumbo, our sister has done awesomely well for her people and this is worth emulating. Her kind gesture is an eye opener for our people to learn from.
He advised the beneficiaries to pray for the foundation and advised other well-meaning individuals from the area to emulate the foundation and affect people positively to make their community a better place.
