#EndSARS: Ex-Governor Peter Obi’s gives counter petition against Bonaventure.
The former Governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi has been found meddling in a case associated with police brutality. In a bid to get Justice for Mr Bonaventure Mokwe whose hotel was demolished and staff arrest and torture for 81 days in Awkuzu SARS division, the petition submitted by the petitioner, has been countered by professor Omenwe representing former Governor Mr Peter Obi.
Countering the petition with the same petition as the petitioner has filed, the counsel representing the former governor stated blatantly Mr Peter Obi has an individual who neither a victim nor respondent on the said matter. He also pointed that the panel was instituted to oversee matters concerning the now disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS as a body not an individual.
