“Majority of the buildings in these state schools are in total states of disrepair. Roofs and ceilings of these schools are in such messy and dangerous conditions”, he said.
He announced that he will continue to do his best to better the lots of his constituents in the education sector, adding that he had already rolled out a plan to provide some good quantities of decent pieces of furniture to five schools in his constituency.
The Lawmaker assured that the furniture would be delivered to the schools before the end of this month and urged the communities that will benefit from the gesture to protect the furniture for prolonged use.
He further stated that he is deploying concrete pavement to construct internal roads within Government Secondary School, Owutu Edda, and will also rebuild the school’s Refectory/Assembly Hall which collapsed many years ago.
