Eastern Security Network now on Wikipedia

Wikipedia, a multiligual online encyclopedia, has defined Eastern Security Network (ESN) as “a regional security force and a paramilitary wing of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).”
It further explains that the aim of the security outfit is “to restore the independent state of Biafra, which has been defunct since the 1967-1970 Nigerian Civil War.”
Recall that leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Maazi Nnamdi Kanu, last year, flagged off ESN to ensure the safety of old Eastern Region – South-East, South-South.
He had vowed to protect the Region against herders’ invasion, killing, rape, kidnapping, extortion, brutality, terrorist and criminal activities.
After launching a deadly face-off with the Nigerian Army for allegedly assaulting some youths, last Sunday, at Orlu, Kanu issued 14 days ultimatum to mostly South Eastern Governors to brace up to their responsibility of protecting people, by enforcing a ban on open grazing law.
The leader said that if South-East Governors fail to act before expiration of the ultimatum, operatives of ESN would “step into the breach.”
