Man killed, dismembered by suspected ritualists in Kwara

A man has been reportedly found dead and body dismembered by unknown people suspected to be ritualists.
The deceased, Usman Audu, suspected to be a Fulani herdsman was found dead at Igosun area of Kwara south.
According to a close source the Audu was said to have died on Thursday and later discovered in a farm after frantic search. His hands, penis and eyes were missing from his remains.
According to the source, “He left home with his cows on Thursday morning for grazing but we became worried in the evening when we didn’t see him which was unusual but only his cows returned.
“After hours of search, in collaboration with the police in the area, his body was found seriously dismembered. His private part, hands and eyes were removed”, he added.
The source added that corpse was later deposited at the morgue of Offa general hospital, Offa, Kwara state.
The police public relations officer of the Kwara state command, Ayayi Okasanmi, confirmed the incident, adding that investigation was ongoing to unravel the circumstances of the killing and to apprehend the culprit/s, adding that no arrest has been made so far.
