Man weds 2 brides same day
Ibrahim Oboshi, a farmer turned councillor defied Coronavirus pandemic scares, social distancing and even lockdown when he successfully wedded two brides the same day in Nasarawa state.
As the country prepared for social distancing and eventual lockdown over coronavirus, a Nasarawa councillor grabbed headlines by marrying two brides same day.
Oboshi, who is the councillor for Iwogu ward in Keana local council area of Nasarawa state, reportedly married Nazira Ozegya and Rabi Akose, on Tuesday, March 28.

The councillor was said to have married Ozegya at 10am in Keana, before proceeding to wed Akoshe in Obi, at a different location around 12pm on the same day. All three posed with a single cake for photographs as a “triple”. Despite representing his ward, Oboshi claims to be a farmer. Both brides have moved into the same home.
