Embrace hard work culture – Ezeemo advises children
Frontline governorship aspirant in the 2021 governorship election in Anambra state, Mr Godwin Ezeemo, has advised children to always embrace the culture of hard work which indigenes of the state were known for.
He urged them not to succumb to pressure from hard times and yield to evil machinations.
In a goodwill message to commemorate 2021 International Children’s Day, the guber hopeful promised to accord children in the state better days when elected as governor, stressing that “the Anambra child is worth celebrating because he is not doing badly in all facets of human endeavour.”
He reassured the children that he would accelerate the pace for quality education and social welfare like the days of former Govenor Peter Obi when elected as governor, praying that God would continue to guide, protect and bless the children.
He said, “By all standards the Anambra child is doing marvellously well. Considering the achievements of Ndi Anambra in business of buying and selling, in education commanding high academic ranking in Nigeria, and acquisition of wealth with giant firms, mostly in trade and commerce, one would rather say that the Anambra child is above board.”
The Umuchu-born businessman who is vying for the exalted seat under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), however regretted lots of factors militating against coherent development of the child these days with some children succumbing to criminal acts of cultism, cybercrime and other vices.
