Azeez on Sabadeli, Cartagena radar after botched Elche loan move
By Sab Osuji
Super Eagles midfielder, Ramon Azeez is focusing on the cards of two-second division Spanish clubs, Sabadeli and Cartagena after his botched January loan move to LaLiga side, Elche, fell through, Orient Sports reports.
Azeez won the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup with Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets but has not tied down a Super Eagles midfield shirt.
He’s equally not enjoying a regular playing time at Granada, hence, his decision to move.
The Nigerian international has been in transfer talks with Elche and was thought to have a clear coast to achieve his dream until the twist surfaced.
Now, Azeez is hoping to actualise his Granada exit with two Segunda sides, Sabadeli and Cartagena, on the cards for his signature.
Cartagena and Sabadeli, reports suggest, are close to signing him on a six-month loan deal.
Sabadeli is 20th while Cartagena is 21st on the 22-team second-tier league standings.
