Abia state secretary to state government (SSG), Chris Ezem, has inaugurated members of the state’s Examination Development Commission Board, with a charge to them to come up with policies that can drive education to the mainstream in the state.
Speaking during the inauguration in Umuahia, Ezem enjoined the members to collaborate with the supervising ministry and its relevant other agencies.
He further challenged them to ensure that Abia maintained its first position in all school examinations and to look inwards to identify ways to better primary and secondary schools in the state and to use the opportunity to make a positive and indelible impact in the system.
Responding, the board chairman, Elder Chukwuemeka Ahuruonye, promised to work assiduously to deliver quality result and thanked the governor for the opportunity to serve.
